How this room works

Everything you need to open the room, read the documents and reach us. In the room, each ? explains the part beside it.

Your room at a glance

This is a private room that Pawse.ai made for you. It holds the documents we share with investors, and anything we have prepared for you alone.

There is nothing to install and no password. You open it with your personal link and a code we email you. Everything in it is confidential, and your name is written on every page you see.

Look for the beside parts of the room. Rest your pointer on it, or tap it on a phone, for a short explanation.

Opening the room

  1. Open your personal link. It came in an email from us.
  2. Press Email me the code. We send a 6-digit code to the address the room was made for.
  3. Type the code and press Open the room. A code works once, for 10 minutes.

This browser then stays signed in for 30 days. On another computer or phone, or after you sign out, you will need a new code. On a shared computer, use Sign out at the foot of any page when you finish.

If the code does not arrive within a minute, look in your spam folder, then press Send a new code. We send up to 5 codes an hour and 15 a day. After several wrong codes the room pauses for a while to protect you.

If the room was made for an address you no longer use, write to hello@pawse.ai and we will change it.

The confidentiality agreement

Before any document, the room asks you to accept a confidentiality agreement. Read it, type your full name, firm, title and email, tick the box and press Agree and continue. You accept it once.

Your signed copy appears straight away, and we email it to you. It shows three things worth knowing.

Reference
A number that identifies your acceptance. Quote it if you ever need to refer to the agreement.
Identity check
The address that received your code. It shows the agreement was accepted by the person the room was made for.
Agreement fingerprint
A code calculated from the exact text you accepted. Changing even one character of the agreement would change it, so it shows which version you signed.

You can open your copy again at any time from the contents page, under Your signed confidentiality agreement, and print it or save it as a PDF.

Finding your way

The contents page lists the sections of your room, numbered like the contents of a book, with the number of documents and pages in each.

The bar under the header takes you to any section, to For you when we have added documents just for you, to Messages and to this page. On a phone it scrolls sideways.

Small labels show what changed since your last visit. A visit ends after half an hour away.

New
A document added since your last visit.
Updated
A document that has changed since your last visit, or a section holding one.
Newly opened
A section we opened for you since your last visit.

Reading documents and films

Open a document to read it page by page. Scroll down to read, and use Previous and Next at the end to move through the section. On a phone or tablet the pages fit the screen, and you can zoom in as on any web page.

Each page is shown as an image with your name, your email and the date along its foot. In some sections your name also runs faintly across each page. Because it is part of the image, it appears on any screenshot or print.

Documents are view only. Where we have switched saving on for you, a Save as PDF button appears at the top of a document, and every page of the PDF carries your name.

Films play inside the room, with your name on screen.

Questions and messages

To ask about a document, use the form at the end of it. Add a page number if your question is about one page. For anything else, open Messages and press New message.

Only you and the founders see your messages. When we answer, the room emails you to say so, with a link straight to Messages. The email never repeats the answer, which stays in the room under the agreement. If you have not yet read the answer we emailed you about, the next one does not send another email the same day.

The envelope at the top of every page shows how many answers you have not read yet.

Waiting
We have not answered yet.
Answered
We have answered. Open the conversation to read it.

Booking a call

Book a call, at the top of every page in the room, opens our booking page in a new tab with your name and email already filled in. Choose a time there. Bookings are handled by Cal.com, a scheduling service.

What the room records

The room records which pages and films you open and for how long, the questions you send and the PDFs you save, so we can follow up with you. Time counts only while a page is on your screen and you have been active in the last two minutes.

It sets one cookie, to remember that this browser typed your code, and it runs no third-party scripts, analytics services or advertising tools.

Privacy in this room explains everything we record, why, how long we keep it and your rights.

If something is not working

The code has not arrived.
It can take a minute. Look in your spam folder, then press Send a new code on the room's first page. If nothing arrives, write to hello@pawse.ai.
The code is not accepted.
Use the code in our latest email. Each code works once, for 10 minutes, and stops working after 5 wrong tries. Send yourself a new one.
The page says the room is paused.
Several wrong codes were typed, so the room paused to protect you. Try again later, or write to us.
The page says your browser did not keep the confirmation.
Your browser is blocking cookies for this site, often in private browsing. Allow them, then send yourself a new code.
The page says the link is no longer active.
The room has been closed or has reached its end date. Write to us if you would like to see the documents again.
Pages take a while to appear.
Each page is prepared with your name as it is shown, and pages further down load as you scroll. On a slow connection, give them a moment.
I have lost my link.
Look for our email with your link, or write to us and we will send it again.

Still stuck?

Write to hello@pawse.ai. A person will answer.
